 "High Noon" ©2023 13" x 14" Legacy Holiday Small Works Show Equally equipped to do battle, the viewer's imagination decides which is the victor. I wanted to explore this matchup in paint, but the snake would easily overtake the focal point. I mulled over several designs and decided to go outside the box. The head of the snake is cropped out of the scene to put the viewer at ease. In my mind, there is no question about which wins the battle! As with all good Westerns, the good guy always wins!
